Celebrating 10 years in business is a huge achievement for any company, but Ardmore Shipping have seen more success than others with a fleet of 26 freight ships travelling around the world. With their headquarters in the aptly named ‘Navigation Square’ Cork, we were approached with the challenge of creating a coffee-table style book that captured the essence of their company and recorded their milestones, all set against a backdrop of the global news stories. Along with this they wanted to position themselves as industry leaders through their many publications, using high-end graphics and consistent communications.

The 10 year anniversary book was packed with employee interviews, funny stories, group photos and even a fold out section outlining the specifications of each ship in the fleet. The book was broken into year segments – each year including some global highlights and when read from start to finish, you can can see the development of a company from its roots in a cottage kitchen to Korean Shipyards and beyond. Organising the information in a clear and chronological manner helped the story telling of the book. The graphical nod to navigation and use of stunning scenic ship photography brought the book to life. We would be proud to place this beautiful hard back book on our coffee table. This contemporary and confident visual style has been applied to many documents in the Ardmore Shipping archive and we are happy to play our part in positioning them where they belong.

The 10 year anniversary book shows the strength and development of Ardmore Shipping and has been sent to stakeholders all around the world. The same strong graphic style has since been applied to a bespoke laser cut bookmark, Progress Report and Annual Report. The company now has a physical book to add to their history, chronicling their growth and progress since it was founded a decade ago.
