Electric vehicles are becoming more and more prevalent in modern society. The journey for an EV buyer is a complicated and lengthy process. Affinity EV is a company dedicated to addressing this issue by streamlining the process through the creation of an end-to-end software solution, making experience much more straightforward for customer and dealership alike. Babelfís were approached with the aim of developing a brand capable of communicating this cutting-edge solution in a tone suitable for its forward-looking positioning.

After a process of market research and competitor analysis, a brand proposition was defined and refined, forming the basis for the creative brief and a touchstone for all that followed. Beginning with the creation of visual identity, the logotype was crafted and developed. In response to the research, and in anticipation of the varied applications required, a suite of three responsive versions of the logo were created to accommodate all possible requirements.

With the identity completed, the design of the operational software platform, as well as the public facing website, was undertaken. A suite of icons and a striking visual style allowed these to come to life and bring cohesion to all iterations of the brand. Finally, a showcase video was produced to describe the benefits of the system and help with the launch of the product and its ongoing expansion.
